Q. Do you send costumes out of town?

A. Yes, we courier costumes thoughout New Zealand.  A standard costume costs $7.50 overnight, one way.(Note: RD address are an addtional $5.50 o/w). We also supply you a return courier bag for $7.50 and all you need to do is make a phonecall for pickup and courier back on agreed date. Larger costumes or boots cost more and will need to be quoted for.  Secure payment is taken via the website by Credit Card.  Booking a Costume also requires a $20 booking fee to be paid whch comes of the cost of the costume.  

 Q. What type of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Cash, Eftpos and Credit Card. All hires have a bond which is refundable in the same form of payment.

Q. What if the costume doesn’t fit?

A. Unfortunately, if you order the incorrect size, or don't wear the costume you will still be charged. The sizing has been provided by the manufacturer, so is as correct as we can get it. If you are unsure order a larger costume.

Q. Do I wash the costume and wig?

A. No, we wash or dry clean the costumes ourselves. If a costume is not washed correctly it can be damaged and therefore you are liable for the cost of this damage.

Q. How much is the bond?

A. The bond depends on the costume, they range from $10.00 - $40.00

Q. How long do I have the costume for?

A. If during the week the hire fee is for two nights, over the weekend the costume is due back Monday night by 6pm (Closing).  Longer periods are by prior arrangement. If the costume is couriered each way then an additional day either side of the hire are allowed for.

Q. Can I come and try the costumes on?

A. Yes you are more than welcome to view/try on the costumes within opening hours. No appointment is neccessary, just come on in.

Q. Do you hire out shoes and boots?

A. Yes I have a large variety of women’s boots and shoes available for hire in a variety of colours.  Some of these are on the website. At this stage I only have a very limited supply of men’s shoes.

Q. Are all your costumes displayed on the website?

A. No, I am working on my website all the time, so please keep looking for new costumes which are added regularly.

Q. What happens if I damage the costume or lose something?

A. Depending on the damage, either a repair cost or the full replacement cost will be charged. Whichever is the less of the two. Lost items are charged at the full replacement cost, some of the costumes are very expensive so please take special care. Refer to Terms & Conditions for full details.
